This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you use the Tabak AI mobile app, website and related services. The service is offered in app stores as Tabak AI under package identifier com.plate.xplateai.

2. Information we process
Account and profile information
Depending on your sign-in method: name, email, user identifier and limited account details supplied by Google or Apple; age, gender, height, weight, target weight, nutrition goal, activity level, dietary preferences and allergen selections.
Nutrition and usage information
Meal logs, recipes, favorites, shopping lists, fridge inventory, water and step logs, goal and sprint history, missions, Tabak Points, preferences and in-app interactions.
Photos and AI inputs
When you request food or fridge analysis: photos you choose or capture, accompanying prompt information and generated analysis results. Camera access is used only with your permission.
Health and fitness information
With your permission, step, water and weight information from platforms such as Apple Health. You may withdraw these permissions in device settings.
Technical, diagnostic and transaction information
Device and operating system details, app version, language, IP address, notification token, crash and performance logs, attribution information and subscription status. Tabak AI does not directly receive payment card details; your app store provider processes them.
3. Why we use information
- Create, verify and secure your account;
- Generate personal calorie, macro and meal targets;
- Provide optional photo-based food and ingredient analysis;
- Deliver recipes, planning, progress, notifications and support;
- Verify subscription status and manage premium access;
- Fix errors, maintain security and improve the product;
- Measure campaigns and communicate where permitted;
- Meet legal obligations and protect rights.
4. Service providers and transfers
Information may be processed, as needed for each function, by:
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, file storage, notifications, functions, crash and performance monitoring;
- OpenAI-powered services: user-initiated meal and fridge image analysis;
- Apple Health: health and fitness synchronization only with explicit device permission;
- RevenueCat and Superwall: subscription status, offers and premium access;
- Amplitude, Meta/Facebook and attribution providers: product analytics, campaign measurement and app performance;
- Netlify: website hosting and secure collection of web account-deletion requests.
These providers may operate infrastructure in different countries. Transfers are handled under the provider’s contractual and technical safeguards.
5. Retention, security and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and fulfill the purposes above, and then as required for applicable legal, security and dispute-resolution needs. The period varies by data type, account status and legal obligation.
We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Never send us your password or sign-in token.
Use Profile → Delete Account in the app or submit an account deletion request. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to local law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing and request a copy of your information. Contact info@tabakai.app. We may need to verify your identity to protect the account.
Children’s privacy
Tabak AI is not directed to children below the applicable age of digital consent. Contact us if you believe we have processed a child’s information without appropriate authorization.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. Material updates will be communicated through appropriate channels and the date above will change.
